Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 eggs, separated
- 2 1/4 cups plain flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 100g butter, melted (add this last)
Method
- Beat together milk, salt and egg yolks
- Mix in flour and baking powder
- Once combined add the melted butter and beat until smooth
- Leave to stand about 2 hours
- Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites
