Breakfast and Brunch waffles

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 2 1/4 cups plain flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 100g butter, melted (add this last)

Method

  1. Beat together milk, salt and egg yolks
  2. Mix in flour and baking powder
  3. Once combined add the melted butter and beat until smooth
  4. Leave to stand about 2 hours
  5. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites
