Makes 16 waffles
Ingredients
- 6 cups unbleached flour
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
Method
- Combine all ingredients, and whisk until well blended and smooth.
- Let batter rest for 5 minutes
- Pre-heat waffle maker
- Pour a little less than 2 cups of batter onto the centre of the lower grid; spread evenly
- Close the lid; when the red and green indicator turns on, the waffles are ready.
